Questions about Donations?

Are you considered a non-profit?

Yes, we are a 501(c)3 not for profit entity. After partnering with IMAHelps, we became a branch under their non-profit! The tax-identification number (EIN#) is 83-0349334. Documentation available upon request.


Will I receive a tax receipt after I make a donation?

Yes, a tax receipt will be mailed or emailed to you within 7 days of your donation.


How can I make a donation?

There are two ways you can make a donation. You can donate directly through our website, which is supported by Paypal. Please recognize there is a 4% transaction fee when a donation is paid online.

You can also mail a check to the address listed below. Please include a letter stating where you would like your donation to be allocated.

Where does my donation go?

100% of your donation goes towards directly outfitting the Mobile Dental Clinic! We will be purchasing dental equipment and other materials that will be durable and long-lasting to ensure the longevity of the Clinic. The materials and equipment we have specified for the space have been approved by dentists and the IMAHelps board to ensure the comfort of the patients and ease of usability for the volunteers.


Can I make a specific donation?

Yes, there are two ways to make a donation to a specific fund:

  • You can donate by clicking on the DONATE button in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Select the box stating “I would like to donate to a specific fund”  then select the fund you wish to contribute to in the drop down menu.
  • You may also click on the button in the Donating drop down menu entitled “Specific Donation Funds.”  Then select the fund you wish to donate to.  Here you will also be able to read more about the different aspects of the clinic Engineering Smiles is fundraising for.

I have equipment or supplies I wish to donate, do you accept them?

Yes! Engineering Smiles welcomes all forms of donations! To donate equipment or supplies contact the Project Engineer Nick Kemme at nick@engineeringsmiles.org or send us a message! We will be happy to discuss the details with you!


 

I only see one or two categories to donate to, are there supposed to be more?

Yes, there are supposed to be three categories available to choose from, clear your cash and browsing history or try browsing in a Google Chrome incognito window.  One of the donation categories, Building the Trailer, has received all of the necessary funding and is therefore no longer accepting contributions and therefore is no longer visible.


When I click on “Specific Donation Funds” it says, “Sorry there are no campaigns.” What do I do?

If you receive this message clear your browsing history or cash, this problem can also be avoided by using a Google Chrome incognito window. Can my company match my donation?

We are not sure! Please contact your company directly to determine if this is possible. If more information is needed than what is on the site, please contact the project manager Sara Mantlik directly at sara@engineeringsmiles.org.
